Reflections Day 4
Today of course was another fun filled day packed with learning. Probably the most enjoyable, and greatest learning experience, was creating our videos for different subject matter. Our group had math, and I had alot of fun making it, and also it helped me realize that this would be a good tool for teachers.Getting close to the end of the week, I've enjoyed training so far, and am anxious to get into the schools!!

Reflections Day Three
In day three, I got to think about a few different things. I haven't thought specifically about having a 30 second spot. I understood the importance of how you present yourself when you meet someone, but not to have a 30 second spot. So that was cool. Secondly, I got to think more about open source software in the classroom. I've known about and used open source in the past, but didn't think about it's relevance in the classroom. And lastly I heard some good ideas about how to work with teachers who may not want to deal with you, for various reasons. I feel it was a packed day full of cool and interesting ideas.

Reflections Day 2
Today was definitely an interesting one. First, there were some fun things I learned about google maps. I've used it for the most current views before, but never to go back to a specific date. It was interesting to see the before and after of Katrina, as well as the September 11 attacks. Google maps definitely could have many uses in the classroom. Secondly, the movie project. wow. I think that posed bigger issues than I would have imagined. But when faced with our obstacles, we came across solutions together. And although the finished project wasn't exactly how we envisioned, for the most part we got the point that we wanted to across.

Reflections
My first day of training was quite enjoyable. I got to meet some friendly people and learn some of what we will be doing in the future. I am excited about my future with the internship, and am thankful to be here. We created a powerpoint today, did interviews, created a blog, and posted a podcast. It was a good day!!
